How long do I have to request a credit to my account?
Customers have 30 days from the time they receive their bill to request a credit or refund. We encourage customers to get set up to receive their monthly statement via email. This requires you to have an account that provides access our new customer service portal at https://my.swyftconnect.com.

How can I add someone to my account so that they are allowed to make changes to my services without me?
Just give our friendly call center a call and let them know you want to add someone, the account holder will need to be the one to call and add people, all we will need is the person’s name.

Is fiber internet wireless?
No. The actual fiber internet service is from a wired connection that uses fiber-optic lines to deliver service directly to your home (or to a nearby node, where another cable is run directly to your building). That external fiber connection is connected to your router via a cable, and then the router creates a wireless signal that your devices connect to. That wireless signal is what we fondly know of as Wi-Fi.

Will you ever intentionally slow my internet service?
No. Swyft Fiber will never deliberately throttle or slow down your internet speed based on data usage.

How can I factory reset my wireless modem?
Locate the pinhole on the back of your modem. Use a paperclip to press the button inside the hole and hold the button down for a full ten seconds this should reset your modem. This will also reset your password to the original web key located on the bottom of the modem.

Why do I need to reset my password when I try to log into the customer service portal?
Due to the recent upgrade to the Swyft Fiber customer service portal at https://my.swyftconnect.com, customers are required to reset their password prior to logging in. The email address used to initially set up your account is still your USERNAME, and the new system will require you to verify your email address prior to resetting the password to log in.

What is streaming television?
Streaming television refers to the delivery of television content over the internet, allowing viewers to watch their favorite TV shows, movies, and other programming. Many times, streaming tv refers to accessing programs through subscription-based services like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+.
For Swyft customers, it can also refer to Swyft TV, our new live television streaming service, powered by SFN. It is the alternative to legacy cable service packages.

What is latency and why is it important?
The term latency is a measurement of the average length of time it takes for data to transfer across a network. Networks with longer delays – or lag time – have high latency. Those with faster responses (less lag times) have low latency. Connections with low latency experience faster data transfer rates and much less buffering. Low latency enhances video streaming, live video chats, and gaming much more.

Why do I have a convenience fee of 2.95 charged on my bill?
The fee is what we charge for processing a card payment. However, If you have a savings or checking account you can use that instead and not be charged the fee.

What if I made a payment and it has cleared my bank but it isn’t showing on my balance?

How do I set up auto draft payments?
Go to the customer portal at my.swyftconnect.com and click on Pay Online. From there follow the prompts to set up an online acct to access 24/7 and there you will be able to set up auto draft payments.

How can I accurately test my internet speed?
For the most accurate results, we recommend using Speedtest.net and selecting the Swyft Fiber server (Dallas TX). This step ensures the test measures your connection directly within our network, providing a true reflection of your service speed.

Why should I select the Swyft Fiber server?
Selecting our server minimizes external factors that can affect speed test results. These issues don’t affect the actual speeds we’re delivering to your home, but they can make your results appear slower than they really are. Testing your speed directly on the Swyft Fiber server gives you the most accurate picture of your service

What if I don't see the Swyft Fiber server listed?
If our server isn’t listed:
- Ensure you’re connected to your Swyft Fiber network.
- Refresh the Speedtest.net page.
- Manually search for “Swyft Fiber” in the server selection.

If you’re using either a new Roku Smart TV or a Roku streaming device, you will need to take the extra step in setting up a personal Roku account. Your Roku account is completely free and there are no monthly fees associated with it.
